Aldo's parents admitted often that "he was an accident" so he felt unwanted. His mother married young and at the age of 34, when Aldo was 16, she was still trying to catch up on the teenage years that she lost.
Being so preoccupied with her own looks and well-being, the children often spent consecutive days without a healthy home cooked meal. Aldo's father was a working man, but with no education, so his financial possibilities were limited.
Taking advantage of his sister's popularity and good looks, he tried to help her "get into the show-business". "She looked pretty, not too much brains, but it didn't matter. I was getting half of what she made and that was enough stimulant for me," Aldo remembers.
Although his sister didn't make it into high quality movies, Aldo obtained for her short roles in different tv series and a few commercials. At the same time, he began to learn how the show-business really works.
